Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have railed against each other during this presidential primary season — but their outsider campaigns are far more alike than they are different.

Besides citing polls as indications of their success, Republican Trump and Democrat Sanders have slammed the rules of their respective parties concerning delegate selection — saying that they favor establishment candidates, The Washington Post reports.

Both also have blasted super PACs for spending heavily to control the process. Trump is largely paying for his campaign himself, while Sanders is garnering support from regular voters, whom the campaign says are making average contributions of $27, according to the Post.

On policy issues, the two most agree on how foreign trade deals have destroyed the U.S. economy and how the Iran nuclear agreement is bad for the country. They also argue that more foreign nations should be financially supporting the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Post reports.

Regarding Israel, Trump and Sanders have described themselves as fully behind the Jewish state, though both have called for some effort to address the plight of the Palestinians, the Post reports.
