Trump Touts 93 Percent Approval

President Donald Trump, in a Tuesday morning tweet, boasted he has a 93 percent approval rating among Republicans.

Trump wrote: “Republican Approval Rating just hit 93%. Sorry Haters! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

It was not immediately clear which national poll the president was referring to in the tweet. However, it is not the first time Trump has touted the figure.

He had also made note of it in a Feb. 24 tweet, when referring to an earlier Rasmussen Reports poll, which showed he with an overall 52 percent approval rating, USA Today reported.
