Amid Republican concerns President Donald Trump's accusations of voter fraud in Georgia will discourage his supporters from voting in the state's Senate runoffs, a super PAC is being launched this week to encourage the president's backers to come out in force to the polls, Politico reported Monday.

Save the U.S. Senate PAC, formed by aides to Donald Trump Jr., will this week start airing commercials on conservative radio and TV stations featuring the president's son in an attempt to reach Trump loyalists ahead of the Jan. 5 vote, which will decide control of the Senate.

Andy Surabian, a Trump Jr. adviser who is helping to direct the PAC, said "We know from past midterms and special elections the Trump voter is not guaranteed to every Republican candidate, which is why it's vital to directly engage these voters and not take them for granted."

GOP leaders are also urging the president to visit Georgia in order to help the Republican Senate candidates, who are in a close race with their Democratic  opponents, and the president himself said he would do so and tweeted

"The 2020 Election was a total scam, we won by a lot (and will hopefully turn over the fraudulent result), but we must get out and help David and Kelly, two GREAT people. Otherwise we are playing right into the hands of some very sick people."

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel added to the message, telling frustrated GOP backers: "If you lose your faith and you don't vote and people walk away — that will decide it," stressing, "we've got to focus on Jan. 5 right now" and deal with voter fraud later on, CNN reported.
