The State Department Wednesday handed over almost 200 pages of emails exchanged between Hillary Clinton's State Department staff and employees of the Clinton Foundation, confirming that the two teams worked closely, according to the Washington Examiner.

While some of emails, which were made public, were copies of those released earlier following a different case, others offered new revelations into the connections between Clinton's agency, her family's foundation and a tainted consulting firm.

Some of the emails released point towards indistinguishable lines when it comes to Clinton's political and diplomatic ties, reports the Examiner. Teneo Strategies, for example, has Doug Band as a founder and Clinton Foundation alum. Band also appears frequently in the email exchanges according to the latest batch of records.

One of the emails reveal that Janice Enright, a powerful lobbyist, who needed a State Department audience for a client in March 2010, wrote to Band: "Oh come on. [Y]ou can make this happen."

Band pointed out in response that the problem was with Enright's client, whose identity was unclear and not properly vetted.

According to some other emails, Clinton's team interacted with the charity officials and a Democratic donor to float a new, Ireland-focused charity called "Friends of the Clinton Centre." While some of those conversations have been publicized previously, the group's existence is still unclear, reports the Examiner.

During the vice-presidential debate Tuesday night, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence attacked Clinton Foundation for accepting foreign contributions from foreign governments and foreign donors while she was secretary of state.
