Melissa McCarthy Returns to Spoof Spicer on 'SNL'

"Saturday Night Live"

Actress and comedian Melissa McCarthy is back as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on "Saturday Night Live."

"SNL" posted a video on Twitter teasing the spoof, with McCarthy dancing and singing along to the "West Side Story" hit "I Feel Pretty," before sitting down for hair and makeup to prepare for her Spicer transformation.

McCarthy will host the show Saturday night.

McCarthy's popular take on Spicer comes a day after the press secretary was criticized for allegedly trying to dodge reporters who wanted answers on President Donald Trump’s shocking firing of FBI Director James Comey.

"After Spicer spent several minutes hidden in the bushes behind these sets, Janet Montesi, an executive assistant in the press office, emerged and told reporters that Spicer would answer some questions, as long as he was not filmed doing so. Spicer then emerged," The Washington Post reported.
