Subpoenas issued to President Donald Trump's inauguration committee have "nothing to do with the White House," just as the arrests of Roger Stone and Paul Manafort had nothing to with Trump himself, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Tuesday.

"I think the common thread is hysteria over the fact that this president became president," Sanders told CNN's "New Day." "The common thread is there is so much hatred out there that they'll look for anything to create and tie problems to the president."

The Stone and Manafort arrests are about their communications with Congress, which Trump has "no jurisdiction over," said Sanders. "The fact is that those things have taken place have absolutely nothing to do with the president. They have everything to do with the fact that people are spending their lives doing nothing but trying to find negatives when, in fact, the president has been incredibly successful."

Meanwhile, Sanders said she doesn't think Trump has any concerns about special counsel Robert Mueller's eventual report, as he has done nothing wrong and there was "on his doing during the campaign."

"They have found nothing to do with the president throughout this entire time spending millions of taxpayer dollars, millions of hours," said Sanders. "Frankly, the president despite this has been able to be incredibly successful. Just imagine the things he could have gotten done in addition to what he did if we didn't have to deal with this day in, day out."
