Evangelical Christian leader Russell Moore unleashed a twitter storm during GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump's speech at Liberty University Monday, calling it "politics driving the gospel rather than the other way around."
Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, the moral and public policy agency of the nation's largest Protestant denomination, even lobbed a Twitter burn at Liberty's leader, Jerry Falwell Jr.
The speech to a record 13,000 people assembled at the university, according to Trump, was carried live on
