House Democrats have become "rabid partisans" with a "disregard for the Constitution" that is "mind-boggling and frightening," President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani says.
In an interview Wednesday night on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle," Giuliani called out the "illegal" Capitol Hill push from Democrats to disclose the full report from special counsel Robert Mueller and to obtain Trump's tax returns for the past six years.
"They are proving that they are rabid partisans," he raged, adding: "Their disregard for the Constitution is mind-boggling and frightening."
He also dismissed the notion Mueller investigators reportedly think their findings are more damaging to Trump than has been described in Attorney General William Barr's summary.
"They're a bunch of sneaky unethical leakers, and they are rabid Democrats who hate the president of the United States," he said.
In response to House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who asserted Wednesday that Trump's actions during the 2016 campaign were "deeply unpatriotic, unethical, and corrupt," Giuliani fumed: "I don't know if there's anything left of Adam Schiff's reputation or anybody to believe him.
"But the reality is there's no evidence of collusion because there was no collusion," Giuliani said, adding the lawmaker is "so emotional in his hatred of President Trump" he "cannot see the truth."
