The Republican National Committee is "responding in real-time" to policies President Joe Biden's administration is putting in place "that are hurting the American people," according to its chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel.

"We're going to make sure that we're pushing back on nominees or extreme policies that are coming out of this administration," McDaniel told Fox News Tuesday. She added that the committee's research and communications departments are now in a rapid response and research operation geared to "expose the Biden White House and hold Democrats accountable."

She pointed out that Biden's move to stop construction of the Keystone XL pipeline cost "thousands of jobs" and that the administration is "taking credit for Operation Warp Speed" after former President Donald Trump "obviously put that into place."

Other executive orders that Biden has already signed in his first week in office are giving the RNC ammunition.

"We foresee making sure that the voters in some of these key states recognize what Biden is doing versus what he said on the campaign trail," said McDaniel. She was unanimously reelected earlier the month to another two-year term after endorsements from Trump, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.

McDaniel noted that in Pennsylvania, which Biden won narrowly, the then-nominee had said he was "for energy independence and a supporter of fracking and the importance of those jobs," but now, he's eliminating those jobs there and in other key states that he won.

The strategy for spotlighting the administration's actions will pay back in next year's mid-term elections when the GOP will be trying to win back control of Congress, said McDaniel.

"The further we get through this and the contrasts from a policy perspective between the administration we just had and the one that's in office, I think we have a good shot," she said. "We'll win back those majorities in 2022."
