Streaming video company Roku tweeted it was removing a channel for conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' Infowars network on its platform — a day after the channel went live.

"After the InfoWars channel became available, we heard from concerned parties and have determined that the channel should be removed from our platform," Roku's statement read.

The move came after the addition of an Infowars channel sparked outrage on social media and among organizations that oppose Jones, NBC News reported.

It was a quick change of mind.

Roku told Digiday on Tuesday that "While the vast majority of all streaming on our platform is mainstream entertainment, voices on all sides of an issue or cause are free to operate a channel. We do not curate or censor based on viewpoint."

Infowars has already gotten the boot from Twitter, Vimeo, Facebook, Apple, and Spotify, Talking Points Memo noted.

Jones on Tuesday posted a screenshot of a tweet on Instagram that read: "Strike me down now, and I only become more powerful #AlexJones," NBC News reported.
