Rep. Peter King Commends PM May, Calls for US Travel Ban

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., praised British Prime Minister Theresa May for her "tough" statements and "action" in response to London's latest terror attacks, denouncing "apologies" and "political correctness" in this era of "Islamist extremism" and adding a call for President Donald Trump's U.S. travel ban to be restored in the Supreme Court.

"I commend British Prime Minister Theresa May for her strong statement calling out Islamist extremism and promising tough action – both militarily and domestically," Rep. King wrote in a statement, which was also posted Sunday on Twitter. "No apologies. No political correctness."

Rep. King then added a call for the Supreme Court to restore President Donald Trump's blocked travel ban from some Muslim -majority countries in the Middle East.
