Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly's support among Republicans has dropped since her
interaction with front-runner Donald Trump at the August 6 GOP presidential debate, a new poll shows.
According to Public Policy Polling, Kelly's favorable/unfavorable rating was 44/9 when it last polled Republicans about her in December 2013. Her favorability has since dropped two points to 42 percent, but her unfavorability has more than doubled to 20 percent.
PPP attributed most of that to Kelly's favorable/unfavorable among Trump supporters being 20/43.
"Meanwhile, Trump's popularity with GOP voters has just continued to grow," the poll's website said. "Last month before the debate his favorability with them was 48/39, now it's improved to 56/30."
Kelly's employer, Fox News, hasn't suffered as a result of the feud, according to the poll. The poll found 66 percent of Republicans currently say they trust the network – the same percentage as in February.
