The teen shooter who gunned down 17 people in a bloody rampage at a Parkland, Florida, high school Feb. 14 demonically bragged on cell phone videos beforehand: "It's gonna be a big event."

The Sun Sentinel on Wednesday reported Nikolas Cruz, 19, recorded three cellphone videos unveiling his horrifying killing plan. Existence of the videos was first revealed by authorities May 22.

"I'm gonna go take Uber in the afternoon before 2:40 [p.m.]. From there I'll go into — onto school campus, walk up the stairs, unload my bags and get my AR and shoot people down at the man — what is it? — the main courtyard, wait, and people will die," Cruz says, according to transcripts of the videos obtained by CNN.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Cruz in one video declared, "Can't wait," after chuckling his former classmates at the Parkland high school were going to know the power of his AR-15 style rifle.

"It's gonna be a big event," Cruz says in the first video, the Sun Sentinel reported. "When you see me on the news, you'll all know who I am," he laughs.

"You're all going to die," he says in a sing-song voice, the news outlet reported. "Pew! Pew! Pew! Pew! Pew! Ah yeah. Can't wait."

"Today is the day. The day it all begin. The day of my massacre shall begin. All the kids in school will run and fear and hide. From the wrath of my power, they will know who I am," he says in another video.

Investigators reportedly found the videos on Cruz's phone after the attack, The Hill reported. In the three videos, Cruz declares himself "the next school shooter of 2018" and taunts his intended victims.

The slaughter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School ended after the shooter escaped school grounds; he was apprehended later by police.

Subsequent reports have found that FBI agents and local law enforcement were warned Cruz posed a danger. Warnings included YouTube comments made by the shooter stating his intention to commit a shooting that were not successfully investigated by officials, BuzzFeed News reported.

Cruz has confessed to the shooting and been formally indicted on 17 counts of premeditated murder in the first degree and 17 counts of attempted murder in the first degree for the attack.

Prosecutors have announced their intention to seek the death penalty.
