Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has launched her own online channel in which she counts down the time left of the Obama administration to the second.
The website, called the
Sarah Palin Channel, contains her opinions on political controversies and breaking stories, plus news segments and features. It also has her word of the day, "rectitude," quote of the day, and her image of the day.
The channel has a question and answer section, plus her daughter Bristol Palin will have a regular blog on the site. The Sarah Palin Channel costs $9.95 per month or $99.95 for a one-year subscription,
according to Variety.
"Welcome to a new project," Sarah Palin says in a video introduction. "This is a news channel that is a lot more than news. This is a community, and we're going to be able to discuss the issues of the day, and we're going to find solutions.
"Are you tired of the media filters?" she asks. "Well I am. I always have been. Well, we're going to do something about it. I want to talk to you directly on our channel, on our terms, and no need to please the powers that be."
The channel, which updates the nation's $18 trillion debt every second, also confronts President Barack Obama's policies, including a current segment on his "addiction" to spending other people's money.
As for the amount of time left with the Obama administration, it's 906 days and counting as of Monday.
