An Ohio UFO video has gone viral since being posted Saturday, showing what appears to be a strange object hovering around Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton.

Secure Team, which frequently reports on UFO sightings, said that a couple recorded the object on May 25 and later contacted a local television station and multiple UFO sites.

"It was the husband who actually spotted this object," the video's narrator states. "It was the wife who grabbed her phone and began recording. … According to them, basically, this object, the way it was moving was very strange because it seemed to be moving with the clouds."

The Mirror reported that Tyler Glockner, owner of the Secure Team website, said that the object was seen by "three separate sources."

USA Today reported last year that Project Blue Book was based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where the Air Force recorded 12,618 sightings of strange phenomena — 701 of which remain "unidentified" — from 1947 to 1969.

The Air Force discontinued the UFO investigations after concluding that "no UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of threat to our national security [and] there has been no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as 'unidentified' are extraterrestrial vehicles," according to a Wright-Patterson fact sheet in 1985, noted USA Today.

The video's narrator said, according to the Dayton Daily News, that the Secure Team believed that the image was possibly an alien craft, a drone, or a secretly engineered Air Force project.

"When it comes to secret military bases that may have something to do with alien phenomenon, the first I don't think of is Area 51," the narrator said. "No, the first thing I think of is Wright-Patterson and this footage we've received confirmed that for me."

Wright-Patterson spokeswoman Marie Vanover told the newspaper Monday that she does not believe the object has any connection with the base.
