More accusations emerged on Wednesday about Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, as the New York Post reported that she continued sending classified information even after she was no longer secretary of state.

The Republican National Committee managed to obtain through a Freedom of Information Act request an email Clinton sent in May 2013 from an account connected with her private server and months after she left the State Department, according to the Post.

But before releasing it, the State Department heavily redacted the email, which was sent to a number of diplomats and top aides regarding a 2009 deal with the United Arab Emirates on materials and technological sharing for nuclear energy production, reports the Post, because it contained classified information.

The State Department explained that the email contains both "information regarding foreign governors" and "foreign relations or foreign activities of the United States, including confidential sources," the Post reports.

GOP nominee Donald Trump's spokesman Jason Miller blasted Clinton, saying in a statement, according to the Post, that her "secret server jeopardized our national security and sensitive diplomatic efforts on more than 2,000 occasions, and shockingly, it now appears her reckless conduct continued even after leaving the State Department. Hillary Clinton's terrible judgment shows she cannot be trusted with our national security."

The latest accusations come on the heels of a development in another scandal aided by information gleaned from emails on her private server, as The Hill reported on Tuesday that more than 50 Republican House members signed a letter requesting that Attorney General Loretta Lynch name a special prosecutor to investigate allegations that Clinton Foundation donors were given special access to a Clinton-led State Department.
