The National Rifle Association in a video released Tuesday blasted the Washington Post for doing "more damage to our country with a keyboard than every NRA member combined has done with a firearm."

Dallas-based conservative talk show host Grant Stinchfield stars in the video, titled "Journalism Dies at the Washington Post."

"Your paper's new slogan may read 'Democracy Dies in Darkness.' It should say 'Journalism Dies at The Washington Post,'" said Stinchfield in reference to the newspaper's tagline it adopted earlier this year.

Stinchfield also zeroed in on Washington Post reporter Alex Horton, who on July 11 wrote an article about the association focusing the topic of its recent videos on politics and not Second Amendment rights.

The NRA has featured Don Raso, a former Navy SEAL, and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch in its recent politically-charged videos. Loesch's video, which was described by critics as inciting violence, calls on the group's supporters to strike back against protests by the left "with the clenched fist of truth."
