North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory invoked a vulgar term for animal excrement as he reacted in disgust to the NBA's decision to yank next year's All-Star Game out of the Tar Heel State.

"[It is] total P.C. BS," the state's top Republican lawmaker said Friday morning on the WFAE-FM radio program "Charlotte Talks."

The NBA announced it is pulling the hugely popular competition from Charlotte and may move it to New Orleans because of because of North Carolina's the HB2 "bathroom law."

That legislation bans transgender people from using bathrooms in accordance with their gender identities — which the NBA said creates a "climate" that does not follow the "values for which we stand."

It's a huge economic blow to Charlotte and the state, which will lose an estimated $100 million in revenue.

"I'm disappointed. I strongly disagree with their decision," McCrory said. "To put it bluntly it's total P.C. BS. It's an insult to our city and an insult to our state."

McCrory called the NBA guilty of  practicing "selective outrage" over the bill, which nullified a Charlotte ordinance extending protections for gay, lesbian and transgender people.

He added that he believes the pull-out was fueled by the "political left."

The NBA's move follows the pattern of several rock stars, including Bruce Springsteen, who cancelled the concerts in the state.
