Farage: Time to Ignore 'Sad and Pathetic' Hillary Clinton

(Fox News)

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton "looks sad and pathetic" and it's not worth anyone's time getting angry about her, ex-UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage said Thursday.

"There is nothing worse in life than a bad loser," the Brexit leader and Fox News contributor said on the "Fox and Friends" program.

"Nothing worse than somebody who blames absolutely everybody else for their own failings . . . let's just from now on ignore her."

Farage, who backed President Donald Trump's campaign, also commented that Clinton "represented an out-of-touch, out-of-date establishment" and that she "almost appeared as if it was her right to become the president, and I'm very pleased she didn't."

The "establishment" was not happy with Clinton's loss, he continued, just as Britain's wasn't with the Brexit vote.

"They are still not reconciled to it," Farage said. "They have had their own way for far too long. They haven't recognized that the world has changed."

During a Wednesday interview, Clinton blamed her election loss on Russian interference, former FBI Director James Comey, fake news, and several other factors.

Farage also commented on the June 8 UK general election, noting that Prime Minister Theresa May has taken on the stance that the Brexit vote must remain, and he's glad to have seen that.

"The problem is the British public didn't really know her very well, and she herself in fact remained in the election last year," Farage said. "She has performed a whole series of U-turns on domestic politics, and it seems now that the more Theresa May appears on our TV screens, the less people like her. That's the main reason why her lead has gone down."

Farage, also on Thursday, said he was pleased to see there was some pushback against comedian Kathy Griffin's graphic video of herself holding a severed, bloodied mockup of Trump's head.

Two years ago, Farage said, a well known stand-up comedian "advocated to public audiences that I should be stabbed. Complaints were made to the police [but] the guy got off without any charges and the BBC, our main national state broadcaster, still repeatedly used this guy."

The image with Griffin was "supposed to be funny, but it wasn't," said Farage, and he is "pleased to see at last there is some kick back against these left-wing politicians who have got away with outrages for years. I see this actually as good news and I think we have turned a corner back towards something rather more decent."
