Former Fox News firebrand Megyn Kelly declared in her talk show debut she was "kinda done with politics for now," but might want to rethink that after a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad couple of celebrity interviews.

In her first segment Monday with the cast of the "Will & Grace" reboot, she clumsily asked a fan if he became a lawyer — and gay — because of Will, and wrapped up the interview telling him: "I don't know about the lawyer thing, but I think the 'Will & Grace' thing and the gay thing is going to work out great," McClatchy News reported.

"Regret going on," "Will & Grace" star Debra Messing glumly responded to an unhappy fan on Instagram. "Dismayed by her comments."

Awkward moment No. 2 came Wednesday when Kelly asked 79-year-old Jane Fonda about her plastic surgery.

The exchange, posted by Business Insider, starts at the 1:42-minute mark.

Story continues below this video.

"You've been an example to everyone in how to age beautifully and with strength and unapologetically," Kelly gushed. "You admit you've had work done, which I think is to your credit. But you look amazing. I read that you said you're not proud to admit you've had work done. Why not?"

Fonda gave her an incredulous look and asked: "We really want to talk about that right now?"

"Well, one of the things people think about you when they look at you is how amazing you look," Kelly weakly replied.

Fonda cooly thanked Kelly and credited "good attitude" and "good posture" before switching the subject back to "Our Souls At Night," a Netflix movie she stars in with Robert Redford.
