The Rev. Franklin Graham is blasting Caitlyn Jenner's decision to pose nude for the cover of Sports Illustrated, calling it "moral bankruptcy."
"What happens when you remove biblical standards and leadership from a country? Moral bankruptcy, that's what," Graham wrote in a Facebook post Monday.
"CBS News just reported that Caitlyn Jenner will pose nude for the cover of Sports Illustrated, draped only in his Olympic gold medal and an American flag. There's a lot wrong with that picture!"
Graham was referencing
recent reports that said Jenner, formerly known as Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, will appear on the cover of an upcoming issue of the sports magazine.
Jenner is transgender and became known as Caitlyn last September.
Graham also references other examples of what he calls the immoral "agenda" in today's media world, including a New York Times story about legalizing prostitution and supporters of a children's movie sequel calling for a lesbian character.
"God calls His people to be salt and light in a dark world. Pray for our nation, and get involved by standing up for God's truth and His righteousness," Graham writes.
