The walls closing in on all of the actors in the Justice Department who conspired against then-candidate Donald Trump and his campaign aides, former Deputy National Security Adviser K.T. McFarland to Newsmax TV.
On Tuesday, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein admitted to Senate Judiciary Committee he didn't read the entire warrant he signed to allow surveillance of former Donald Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
McFarland thinks that admission will ultimately lead to proof that she, Trump and other people tied to the president were being set up by the FBI.
"Rosenstein said yesterday, in testimony, 'Well, I didn't know. It wasn't my fault. I just signed off on whatever requests the Mueller investigation gave me," McFarland told Thursday's "The Chris Salcedo Show."
McFarland has accused the FBI of setting up herself and former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to catch Trump in a Russian collusion investigation.
"So then, what happens an hour or so later? Andrew McCabe comes out and says, 'Oh, no, no, no, no, Rosenstein knew everything about it," McFarland said. "And then two weeks ago, the email that Susan Rice wrote to herself was declassified and she said, at that point, as the administration was going from Obama to Trump, she said, "We did everything by the book. We did everything by the book. If anything wasn't done by the book, it was Comey's fault."
She continued, "And what does Comey say ..."I was just following orders. I was just following the direction I got from President Obama."
McFarland said it's only a matter of time before the FBI conspirators begin turning on each other.
"So they're all going to start fighting among themselves. Why, because ... there was never any 'there' there," "They knew it was a fraud. They knew it was a hoax from the very beginning, and yet they doubled down efforts."
McFarland said: "The collateral damage to individuals, but really the collateral damage to the country, just shame on them all."
