Report: Kim Jong Un Executed All of Uncle's Blood Relatives

North Korea’s sadistic leader Kim Jong Un not only executed his uncle, he put to death all of the man’s living blood relatives, including children and grandchildren, according to a new report.

Exact dates of the massacres are not known, however sources believe they took place following the Dec. 12 assassination of Jang Song Thaek, South Korea’s respected Yonhap News Agency reports.

Kim reportedly ordered Jang’s death for contemplating a military coup to overthrow the 31-year-old dictator. Jang was married to Kim's aunt and was a high-ranking member of the regime of the Supreme Leader's father, Kim Jong Il — his brother-in-law.

The dead include Jang's sister, Jang Kye Sun, her husband, Jon Yong Jin, who served as Pyongyang’s Ambassador to Cuba, as well as Jang Yong Chol, Jang's nephew and the Ambassador to Malaysia. Chol’s two sons were reportedly also executed, along with the sons, daughters and grandchildren of Jang’s two brothers, according to The Daily Mail.

According to Yonhap, some of the relatives were shot to death in front of other people if they resisted while being dragged out of their homes, while most relatives by marriage were spared and sent to remote villages with their families.

"The executions of Jang's relatives mean that no traces of him should be left," a source said. "The purge of the Jang Song Thaek people is under way on an extensive scale from relatives and low-level officials."

Secretary of State John Kerry has characterized Kim as ruthless, reckless and insecure. Executions have been rampant since he took the country’s helm in 2012 after his father’s death in 2011. Three generations of the family have ruled North Korea for six decades.

Jang's wife, Kim Kyong Hui, who is Kim's aunt, was granted a divorce the day before Jang’s execution. She reportedly died of a heart attack or committed suicide earlier this month.

The UPI reports rumors of a possible "inappropriate relationship" between Kim's wife, Ri Sol Ju and Jang, while she was a member of the Unhasu Symphony Orchestra.
