Jamal Khashoggi’s body parts have been found, Sky News reported on Tuesday, with the murdered Saudi journalist cut up and his face disfigured.
One source suggested that Khashoggi's remains were discovered in the garden of the Saudi consul general's home.
Turkish opposition leader Dogu Perincek specified to the Mirror that the parts were found in a well in the garden.
The discovery came soon after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan publicly demanded in a speech in parliament in Ankara that Saudi officials reveal the body’s whereabouts, saying "Why has the body of someone who was officially said to be killed not been found yet?"
Erdogan said the murder was an atrocity that must not be covered up by the Saudi regime and that the kingdom needs to extradite 18 suspects to Turkey.
Khashoggi, who was a harsh critic of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was murdered by a 15-member "hit squad" of Saudi assassins at the consulate on Oct. 2, according to Turkish officials, the Daily Star reported.
