Donald Trump's childhood home in Queens is going up for auction, CNN Money reported Tuesday.

With five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, the 2,500-square foot Tudor home in Jamaica Estates has an suggested opening bid of $849,000. Over the summer it was on the market for $1.65 million.

"The connection to Trump is timely, and the value is a little difficult to ascertain due to the association with Trump," Misha Haghani, Paramount Realty USA co-broker on the listing, explained to CNN Money. "An auction is a great way to sell . . . things that have a unique or sentimental value. A value beyond the physical."

Trump spoke about the house during a recent appearance "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

"That is where I was born," the billionaire said, when presented with a picture of the house. "I had a really good childhood; oh that's sad to look at that, I want to buy it."

The auction will take place Wednesday, at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan.

“We are choosing to auction the property because we don't know what it's worth," the owners said, explaining the sale of the house due to their divorce, ABC News reported. "It is unique, and the market has changed so much since we purchased the property; we will let buyers bid what they wish, and tell us what it's worth."

"We believe he lived there from birth until four," Haghani said of Trump. "Then his father moved the family literally around the corner, [the new home] backs up to this house."

According to Haghani, the Republican presidential candidate's father Fred Trump built the house, along with several others in the neighborhood. Although Trump's connection with the house has drawn much attention to the sale, it still might not sell.

"Whether someone buys just because he lived here, I'm not so sure about that," said Haghani.
