The document dump of
Hillary Clinton emails on Monday night was heavily redacted, of course, since the State Department now says about 150 of the former secretary of state's communications on her private server contained classified information.
But there was also insight into how the current Democratic presidential front-runner viewed press coverage – specifically Fox News.
Mediaite found three mentions of the conservative news network in the latest batch of emails.
All the emails were sent in May 2010, and two noted that Fox was going after State Department official Mike Posner, who spoke negatively about Arizona's SB 10170 immigration bill while on a trip to China.
"FOX is beating the heck out of Mike for what he said in his briefing on the China human rights dialogue about the Arizona law. Can you track down [redacted] " Clinton wrote on May 17.
Eleven days later, Fox hadn't let up: Bill "O'Reilly is still going after Mike over the Chinese/Arizona law comment. [Redacted]," Clinton wrote on May 28.
And Clinton figured she'd catch heat from Fox over a Brookings Institution speech in which she said the rich weren't paying enough taxes.
"Are you getting any feedback? How soon will FOX attack me for my "tax the rich" comments?" she wrote on May 27.
