Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance will seek a grand jury indictment against Harvey Weinstein next week, Page Six of The New York Post reported Tuesday.

Citing "law enforcement sources" in its report, Page Six said that Vance would present the case to the grand jury and wait for it to return an indictment.

The New York City Police Department has been building a case against Weinstein, 65, for allegedly raping actress Paz de la Huerta, 33, twice in 2010.

De la Huerta, of TV's "Boardwalk Empire" fame, detailed the alleged assaults to Vanity Fair magazine last week.

"He's like a pig . . . he raped me," she said.

De la Huerta is among at least 30 women who have accused Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment.

Police Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said last week that the department was sharing information with Vance's office, with the possibility of obtaining an arrest warrant against Weinstein.

But Vance has instead decided to present the case to the grand jury, Page Six reports.

Weinstein, who is at a rehabilitation center in Arizona, has been expelled for life by the Television Academy, and he paid private security agencies to collect damaging information on his accusers and journalists investigating reporting on the allegations.
