Hannity on Reported Kelly Move: I'm Very Happy

Fox News commentator Sean Hannity insists he's happy with the moves on Fox News that will bounce his show from its 9 p.m. weekday slot to make way for Megyn Kelly.

"Let’s just say in the end I’m very happy. That’s all I can say at this point," Hannity said on his radio show. "Everybody thinks they know everything, and they don't. "It’s pretty funny. I love people speculating."

He didn't say anything about his future on Fox. Hannity inked a long-term contract with Fox that reportedly lasts through the 2016 elections.

Fox has yet to make it official that Kelly will take over the 9 p.m. slot that was reported by the Drudge Report on Thursday.

Hannity acknowledged he has people who don't like him because of his conservative views. He said he hears them say things such as "I hate Hannity, I can't stand him, he's a right-wing nut job."

"I love that too," he said. "If I wasn't hated I wouldn't be doing my job now would I? I am a proud, tea party-loving Reagan conservative. That's who I am — never going to change."

Fox News President Roger Ailes had kind words for Hannity in an interview on the network with Neil Cavuto Thursday. "Hannity is a brand that many of our viewers love and want to see, and as you know, is one of the nicest guys in the building," Ailes said.
