Fox News Channel, which marks its 20th anniversary in October, is experiencing its highest prime-time viewership to date, Deadline Hollywood reports.
Fox is No. 1 in all of cable during prime time with 2.2 million viewers, up from No. 5 during the same time in 2015.
While the presidential election year is helping boost Fox's ratings, it is still far outpacing its competitors at CNN and MSNBC, which also saw an upswing so far this year but, combined, don't match Fox News' numbers.
Fox News Channel trailed only TNT, host of the NBA finals, in total cable viewers.
Fox has won the cable news race for 58 quarters in a row and had nine of the most watched programs for the quarter. The cable station leads with the top five spots in cable news viewers and the 25-54 demographic valued by advertisers.
Fox also saw a 17 percent rise in the demo, for which it was in third place overall in cable.
Fox Business Network, FNC's sister channel, saw a huge percentage increase up 94 percent in daytime and 133 percent in prime time.
