The only child of former Fox News host Eric Bolling has died.
Nineteen-year-old Eric Chase Bolling, who was found dead Friday evening, studied economics at the University of Colorado Boulder, according to his Facebook profile, the New York Daily News reported.
The elder Bolling tweeted about the death Saturday afternoon, saying he and his wife Adrienne are "devastated by the loss."
A Fox News spokesperson also released a statement, calling the teen "a wonderful young man," the Washington Examiner reported.
"We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling's son," the Fox statement said. "Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family."
Celebrity news website TMZ first broke the story.
Fox News host Sean Hannity and frequent contributor former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee both extended their condolences.
Fox News' Geraldo Rivera also tweeted his condolences, calling the news "horrible."
On Friday, Fox News had announced it was parting ways with Bolling after an investigation of sexual harassment accusations, and canceling his show, "The Specialists."
Bolling has denied the accusations of harassment and pledged to clear his name.
