President Donald Trump's net worth decreased by $1 billion between 2016 and 2017, and he is now the 544th richest person in the world.
Forbes estimates Trump is worth $3.5 billion, based on Feb. 17 financial figures. Last year at this time, Forbes pegged him as the 324th richest person on its annual list of the world's billionaires.
Forbes noted Trump is tied with five other people on this year's billionaires list.
Topping the list is Microsoft founder Bill Gates at $86 billion, followed by Berkshire Hathaway founder Warren Buffett ($75.6 billion), Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos ($72.8 billion), Zara co-founder Amancio Ortega ($71.3 billion), and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg ($56 billion).
The list includes 2,043 people, a 13 percent increase from last year and the highest total ever recorded. The total net worth of the billionaires on the list is $7.67 trillion, Forbes reported.
Trump claimed he was worth "in excess" of $10 billion in a Personal Financial Disclosure filed during his presidential campaign last May.
