Forty percent of Florida voters say they believe President Donald Trump should be re-elected, according to a new poll by Bendixen & Amandi International.
Fifty-three percent were opposed to a second term for Trump. The survey results were detailed in a report by Politico.
Here are the highlights of the Florida poll:
- 43 percent of have a very favorable or somewhat favorable opinion of Trump, compared to 52 percent who have a somewhat unfavorable or very unfavorable view of him.
- 26 percent of Democrats would vote for former Vice President Joe Biden in the primary.
- Biden was followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., with 11 percent and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., at 9 percent.
- 39 percent of voters described themselves as moderates, 32 percent said they are liberals, and 21 percent said they are conservatives.
The poll, conducted March 1-4, surveyed 602 registered voters in Florida. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
