Draft Biden super PAC senior adviser Josh Alcorn was overheard on an Amtrak train saying he is certain Vice President Joe Biden will enter the presidential race,
National Review reports.
NR quoted someone who overheard Alcorn talking on the phone during a New York-to-Delaware trip.
"I am 100 percent that Joe is in," Alcorn reportedly said in one of the calls, though he said he didn't know when Biden would toss his hat into the ring.
Another passenger said that Alcorn said test ads were doing well in converting Hillary Clinton supporters into Biden supporters and that money was available to push advertising when Biden announces.
But Alcorn wasn't as confident about Biden's chances in New Hampshire, where Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is leading, according to one of the passengers.
