Dr. Chauncey Crandall, a board certified cardiologist at Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic in Jupiter, Fla., was chosen as a South Florida Super Doctor by Key Professional Media, Inc.
In selecting doctors for Super Doctors, Key Professional Media uses a painstaking multi-step process aimed to pinpoint physicians who have achieved a high degree of peer recognition and professional accomplishment.
Physicians are asked to nominate colleagues they believe to be outstanding in their specified area of expertise. Doctors do not self-nominate.
During the selection process, researchers also search medical databases and publications for physicians who have achieved “Star Search Credentials.”
These credentials include hospital appointments, fellowships, years of experience, leadership positions, honors, academic achievements, and many factors.
The Super Doctors list comprises only about 5% of doctors within the respective state or region. Dr. Crandall is one of only two cardiologists in Jupiter, Fla., to be designated a Super Doctor.
Dr. Crandall currently serves as chief of the Cardiac Transplant Program at the Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic, where he practices interventional, transplant, and vascular cardiology.
He received post-graduate training at Yale University School of Medicine, and cardiology fellowship training at Beth Israel and Mount Sinai medical centers in New York City.
Dr. Crandall is on staff at the following medical centers: Palm Beach Gardens, Good Samaritan, and Jupiter.
In addition, as medical editor of Heart Health Report, a Newsmax Health newsletter, Dr. Crandall shares his message of health and healing with thousands of readers each month.
