Chauncey Crandall, M.D., Given Global Heart Award by Tree of Life Foundation International

Heart specialist Chauncey Crandall, M.D., was honored to be presented with a Global Heart Award in 2011 by the Tree of Life Foundation International.

This esteemed award honors acts of generosity and goodwill demonstrated by extraordinary individuals and organizations on a local, national, and international scale.

Amanda Schumacher founded the Tree of Life Foundation years ago with a mission to enhance the lives of those in need.

There are 22 “branches” to the Tree of Life Foundation, including medicine, science and technology, food, housing, and human rights, to name a few.

Currently, Chauncey Crandall, M.D., is chief of the Cardiac Transplant Program at the Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic in Jupiter, Fla., where he practices interventional, transplant, and vascular cardiology.

He received his post-graduate training at Yale University School of Medicine, and his cardiology fellowship training at Beth Israel Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Crandall has hospital appointments to the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Good Samaritan Medical Center, and Jupiter Medical Center in Florida.

Additionally, as medical editor of the Newsmax publication Heart Health Report, Dr. Chauncey Crandall shares his message of health, hope, and healing with thousands of dedicated readers each month.

This newsletter shows readers how to prevent or recover from heart disease.
In addition to his professional duties, Chauncey Crandall, M.D., also established the nonprofit Chadwick Foundation in honor of his late son Chad, to provide medical care and other services for people in need throughout the world, including those in Haiti, Colombia, and Africa.
