President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning went on a spree retweeting criticism of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., after she ripped up her copy of his State of the Union address following his speech.

Late Tuesday night, Trump retweeted the official White House Twitter account saying, “Speaker Pelosi just ripped up: One of our last surviving Tuskegee Airmen. The survival of a child born at 21 weeks. The mourning families of Rocky Jones and Kayla Mueller. A service member's reunion with his family. That's her legacy.”

On Wednesday, Trump retweeted one user who wrote, “That was weak, Nancy. I wish she held her cool. Plays into every female stereotype.”

Another said, “The only thing Nancy Pelosi proved is that liberalism is an ideology of insane hate and rage. She should be censured and forced to resign.”

He also retweeted a user who said, “Nancy’s legacy is ripping up a document she is mandated to preserve. She’s a complete failure.”

Trump came the closest to directly commenting on Pelosi when he tweeted in response to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, who wrote, “The facial expressions and head shaking is a new low for the House. Moreover, the protests of members was incredibly inappropriate. A president speaks at the SOTU as a guest of both houses.”

Trump replied, “thank you Jonathan, and great job!”
