MSNBC Talks Up Trump KKK Ties, Cuts to Black Supporter

MSNBC host Tamron Hall was left at a loss for words Monday when a discussion of Donald Trump's alleged backing by white supremacists mistakenly cut to a black supporter of the real estate billionaire who said "we need to stop with all the racist stuff and all the race-baiting."

Hall was interviewing David Corn, editor of the leftist Mother Jones magazine, about former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke's recent endorsement of Trump.

"Now you have reports saying, listen, what about his supporters, what are we learning about his supporters, the new people truly that he is, to his point, bringing into the fold?" Hall asked.

She was then prompted that footage was available of such supporters at a rally.

Hall was clearly unprepared for who popped up on camera next: Black Trump supporter Frank Vick, dismissing the controversy and saying "we're all Americans."

"David Duke and people like that, they come out from under the rocks all the time around this time of year. It's got nothing to do with Donald Trump," Vick stated.

"We're all Americans. I think we need to stop with all the racist stuff and all the race-baiting … Nobody [is] paying David Duke no mind."

"Um, clearly, let me just be clear," a stammering Hall uttered when the clip ended.

"Obviously the majority of Donald Trump's supporters are not African American. I don't know how many African Americans were in that, that building, but that is one, uh, person that, uh, we have chosen to cut that sound from, uh, David."

The conversation then resumed.
