President Barack Obama doesn't appear to be up for the job he's held for the past seven years, says one of the people who wants to replace him: Donald Trump.

"I don't think he was meant for this job," Trump said Tuesday on Fox News Channel's "Hannity." "The temperament is wrong."

Obama's news conference on Monday describing the deadly Paris terrorist attacks as a "setback" in the fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) was "disastrous," Trump said.

"It was insulting. He wasn't angry at the killers, the murderers, the animals that did this horrible thing. He was angry at reporters and some of the Republicans, frankly," Trump said.

Obama complained during the press conference that reporters were asking him the same question over and over about his record of dealing with ISIS. He also went after Republicans who oppose allowing Syrian refugees into the United States over fears of terrorists being among them.

"Unfortunately, we have to suffer with it, but this job is not for him," Trump said. "That was a terrible performance yesterday and an embarrassment to the country."

Trump said if he were president he'd build a coalition, "and I'd blast the hell out of them. They wouldn't be there long."
