US Levies Charges for Evading Sanctions on Venezuela Oil Co.

The U.S. Justice Department on Monday announced the unsealing of an indictment charging 10 people in a conspiracy to evade sanctions on Venezuelan state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela, or PDVSA, related to alleged activity between 2019 and 2021.

One of 10 was arrested in Miami last week, according to the Justice Department.
