Horowitz was just on Beck’s national radio show this week, and the top-rated host told his audience that “this is a very critical book,”  warning Americans of the growing attacks on Christians.

Beck then praised Horowitz, a leading conservative and a Jew, for taking a stand to protect Christians and speaking out about the growing persecution of Christians in America.

“This guy is an American hero,” Beck said.

“The threat is frightening,” Horowitz says.

“I thought this book would be a warning about the future, but the plan to destroy Christianity is already underway and a real threat today,” Horowitz said, detailing why he wrote Dark Agenda.

Beck was shocked about how dangerous the situation has become.

“Dark Agenda is a must read . . . and something that everyone should have,” Beck said.

“Not only because of who David Horowitz is and the perspective that he has, but because this really shows clearly what is happening to us. Not only what has happened, but what is still going on.”

The just-released Dark Agenda has shot to the top of the bestseller lists and is now #1 on Amazon.

Horowitz is author of several New York Times bestsellers, including Radical Son. A one-time leftist, Horowitz became a conservative thinker and heads the David Horowitz Freedom Center in Los Angeles.

Horowitz explained to Beck why he wrote Dark Agenda.

“You have to have a respect for the belief in God, and a respect for the people who believe in God,” he said. “And if you don’t have that, you can’t defend your own freedoms.”

In Dark Agenda, Horowitz claims that the left wants to undermine Christianity because its values are the cornerstone of American democracy and guided the Founding Fathers.

He argues that President Obama became the first “anti-God President” and was the disciple of radical left thinker Saul Alinsky.
