The conservative organization Club for Growth is implementing a $1 million ad campaign that targets moderate Republicans who did not support the GOP's recent attempt to introduce a bill to repeal Obamacare.

The ads will be directed at 10 lawmakers, including Reps. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Chris Collins (R-N.Y.), who were vocal in their opposition to a recently-failed GOP effort to introduce changes to the current healthcare law.

The campaign also highlights ads with a general focus on repealing Obamacare and will promote a new bill that includes revisions to the previously proposed legislation, Politico reported Tuesday.

Ads will begin today promoting the new replacement bill, while the ones targeting lawmakers by name are set to begin running Thursday.

"We'll be calling on them to support the real Obamacare repeal they agreed on," said David McIntosh, president of the Club for Growth.

Health care advocacy groups, such as the National Council for Behavioral Health and the National Council on Aging, are calling on lawmakers to avoid any replacement bill that would include cuts to Medicaid or current coverages afforded under ObamaCare.
