Chuck Todd Intends to Ignore Any DOJ Subpoena in Leak Probe

NBC News' Chuck Todd said he intends to ignore any subpoena from the Department of Justice if the agency goes after the media while investigating leaks.

Todd, the moderator of "Meet the Press," tweeted:

If DoJ media source threat is real (I assume it's not; just a show presser to please WH) then I look forward to ignoring that subpoena

And he added:

His comments came after Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced a crackdown on leakers. Sessions said he might even go after the media and seek the names of sources, The Hill reports.
