New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says the Black Lives Matter movement need not bother calling him for a meeting as they have Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
"Don't call and ask me for a meeting. You're not getting one," Christie said during an Iowa campaign appearance on Wednesday,
the Washington Examiner reports.
"When I'm president of the United States, [law enforcement will] finally have a president who will have their back, and have it every day," said Christie, a former federal prosecutor.
Christie said he believes "all lives matter" and voiced displeasure at what he believes to be a legitimization of the violent element inside the Black Lives Matter movement, the Examiner reported.
