Charles Barkley said that Lavar Ball is "exploiting his kids" in an interview on ESPN's "Golic and Wingo" show.

The NBA legend and show host was responding to a question about LaVar Ball's recent move to pull his two youngest sons from school and their signing contracts to play professional basketball in Lithuania.

Barkley said he felt sad because LaVar Ball "represents everything that is bad about sports," Business Insider reported.

"It's all about him. I just feel bad for those kids," he said.

Some have said that LaVar Ball is trying to be a good father to LiAngelo Ball and LaMelo Ball, but Barkley dismissed the notion.

"Just because you exploit your kids, trying to make money because you have no talent, that does not make you a good father," he said, per Business Insider. "He's all about Big Baller Brand. He has no foreseeable talent. He's trying to make money off his kids, and I just feel sadness for those kids because they're going to do whatever he tells them to do."

Earlier this year news broke that Lavar Ball was withdrawing 16-year-old LaMelo Ball from his high school basketball team to be homeschooled and trained by his father.

It was not long before 19-year-old LiAngelo Ball withdrew from UCLA after the school put him on indefinite suspension after he and two teammates were questioned by police for shoplifting while the team was in China.

The two brothers have since signed contracts with the Lithuanian team Vytautas Prienai, where they are expected to report in early January.

There have been raging debates about Lavar Ball's decisions, and the father sought to address these in an interview on New York's radio show "The Breakfast Club."

"Here's the thing: People keep talking about the educational thing — 'Oh, he took them out of school, they're not going to be educated.' Wrong," he said, according to The Washington Post. "You can take your boys out of school when you've got a brand," he said, adding that "when you've got a brand, you can do what you want, and that's us."
