CBS News is being criticized for not releasing a clip from President-elect Donald Trump's "60 Minutes" interview Sunday night in which he called on his supporters to stop bullying and attacking minorities, according to The Hill.

Host Lesley Stahl told Trump that harassment and attacks on minorities had occurred since his election victory.

Trump replied: "I am so saddened to hear that, and I say stop it. If it helps, I will say this, and I will say it right to the camera: stop it."

After the taping, "60 Minutes" released Trump quotes from the interview in which he discussed Obamacare, but released no quotes from his statement about the attacks.

CNN's Brian Stelter rebuked the CBS decision:

Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera also criticized CBS News in a tweet:

Protesters have demonstrated in cities around the U.S. In Portland, Oregon, a protester was hospitalized in a shooting amid the protests.

According to The Hill, a spokesperson for CBS said, "We chose to release a quote on the issue that affects the most Americans and that was his statement on Obamacare."
