British Prime Minister David Cameron has created a secret hit list of Islamic State [ISIS] extremists who are to be instantly killed when they are located.
The National Security Council, chaired by Cameron, authorized the taking out of 10 jihadists earlier this year,
The Independent of London reports.
Among them is the notorious Mohammed Emwazi — better known as Jihadi John — who has beheaded British and American hostages in videos ISIS has released.
The list, drawn up earlier this year, also included two British ISIS members killed by Britain's Royal Air Force [RAF] in a drone attack in Syria last month.
On Tuesday, British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon said the RAF will not hesitate to launch more drone strikes in Syria to prevent terror attacks in the United Kingdom.
Britain has become aggressive in pursuing terrorists, even those who are British nationals, over the past year.
Last month, Reyaad Khan, who was born in Wales, and Ruhul Amin, a native of Scotland, were killed in the Middle East — the first time the United Kingdom has targeted British citizens on foreign soil.
Cameron said Khan and Amin were linked to several terror plots in the United Kingdom, including the disruption of VE Day and Armed Forces Day events which were attended by Queen Elizabeth.
