The White House agrees with its critics that we haven’t fully succeeded in Afghanistan yet. Vice President Joe Biden said in Kabul Tuesday that U.S. and NATO forces are on the right path to leave Afghanistan by 2014, but that security gains remain fragile, The Hill reports
Biden, appearing with Afghan President Hamid Karzai in an unannounced trip to the country, complimented Karzai’s job performance and the progress allied forces have made in fighting the Taliban.
