A 61-year-old baseball with a "nearly perfect" signature of former President Dwight Eisenhower is going up for auction.

The ball is being offered by Steiner Auctions.

It comes from the collection of the Cookie Lavagetto family and it was obtained during Lavagetto's time as the Washington Senator's coach during the 1956 season, according to Steiner. The minimum bid is $5,000.

Another baseball with a "best wishes" message to Lavagetto and signed by former President Richard Nixon also is being auctioned by Steiner, according to The Hill.

Bidding for the Nixon ball starts at $250, according to the website.
