Tuesday, 28 December 2010 06:36 PM

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Trade Representative's office is "very concerned" about China's export restraints on rare earth materials and has raised its concerns with China, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.

The USTR was responding to China's move to cut its first round of rare earth export quotas for 2011 by more than 10 percent from year-earlier levels.
