A website has been launched in hopes of convincing Apple CEO Tim Cook to launch a presidential campaign in 2020, noting that he has taken positions on several political stances and that he was Hillary Clinton's short list of vice-presidential candidates.

The page shows no owner information, but opened on Friday topped with an Apple logo that has been modified in red, white, and blue, and lists tweets, speeches, and more showing that he opposes many of the actions taken by President Donald Trump, reports The Washington Free Beacon.

The site, coming out on the same day as Apple's new iPhone X smartphone, shows tweets Cook has posted with his positions on the president's stances on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, a transgender military ban, the protests in Charlottesville, and the Paris Climate Accord.

It also shows that in addition to being on Clinton's short list of running mates, he held fundraisers in support of the then-Democratic nominee.

A Twitter account, @DraftTimCook has also been launched, and follows mostly political accounts, including those for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont; Vice President Mike Pence, Senate leaders Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell, and Cook himself, even though neither the Apple CEO, nor any politicians, are among the site's followers.

The group's Facebook page was launched on Thursday, and as of Saturday morning had just over 60 followers and one review from a person who said he liked the idea of Cook running, but wondered what a presidential campaign would do to the company's stocks.
